On January 7, 2025, Tallulah shared a carousel post featuring three images that captured her excitement for her mother’s win in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category for her role in “The Substance.”

The images showed the mother-daughter duo dressed up at a Golden Globe after-party. While Demi donned an elegant, flowy red dress with rose ruffles and bows, Tallulah rocked an edgy black and white ensemble.

Perhaps one of the most striking pictures Rumer shared was her cover image, which shows her, Tallulah, and their sister Scout Willis (Demi’s second-born daughter), who wore a black dress, sticking out their tongues while surrounding their mom and her Golden Globe, which they all held onto.

The touching familial moment came amidthat her mom had purposely ignored famous influencer Kylie Jenner at the Golden Globes. The instance occurred when she approached the table Kylie was seated at to greet fellow A-lister Elle Fanning.

Tallulah set the record straight via a since-expired post on her Instagram Story. “We spent New Year with Elle, so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do. This angel was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well wishers [sic],”Tallulah.

Joining Kylie at her table, aside from Elle, was her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, and another woman. The influencer attended the event to support Timothée, whofor Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his role in “A Complete Unknown.”

The footage, shared on various TikTok accounts, captured DemiElle, Timothée’s co-star in “A Complete Unknown,” at their shared table. She also passionately interacted with the woman seated next to Elle. During this interaction, Kylie offered Demi her congratulations.
